On my most recent visit to Utah, my father was a celebrity guest on "Cooking Delight with Jennifer Burns" (I know it sounds hokey and you're right, it was--no offense JB, you were a great TV personality). Dad was showcasing his oil painting mastery, and they were encouraging viewers to find creativity and color in the kitchen! My sisters and mother joined the guest audience for the filming that day. This is a picture we had taken at the studio. My sisters and I were hoping that as the filming was under way, one of us would get asked how the food was, as the audience was occasionally asked to sample food and respond with pleasure on camera... our plan was to smile at the camera in a majorly over-enthused and hyper-dazzled way, responding-- "It's a DELIGHT!", but we had no such luck to get vocal time, only lots of awkard camera angles that showed us looking like 4 sexy ladies (yes mom, you too), all related, who did not belong in a studio audience.
We can all get quite silly and immature when we're together. There is nothing more cherished and rare, than the time I get to spend with my mom and sisters. If you happened to have seen the episode--I demand you erase it from your memory!
