Waylan is my VERY BEST buddy, but I have a new pal to boot… an actual boot! It will be hobbling around with me for the next while. Yesterday I had my first "bunionectomy", or in other words, I had bone cut out of my foot and a pin placed in for good measure. If you are curious about what that means, there are plenty of graphic (by nature) but interesting videos to educate the oblivious—on YouTube of course. Where else can one so easily access the visuals of a fantastic foot procedure, and watch it at leisure? It has not been an easy 1st couple of days, post operation. Hopefully, we can all make it through as a family, without ringing each other’s necks over demands on Curtis, the pain-ridden, moody patient making the demands, and the cute baby who is always experiencing a lack of attention, especially now while his mother is a powerless, one-legged pirate!
